FINAL THOUGHTS
LuisAngel Acuna now has begun his career in the New York Mets organization after getting dealt for Max Scherzer. I had wondered if Acuna would shift to the OF if he had stayed with the Rangers, but now it is obvious he will stick in the middle infield. Acuna has had a tremendous 2023 season, but I do worry about him being a free swinger. His power and ability to play short will carry his value however, and it will be exciting to see he and Ronald facing each other in the same division.
