By the time this scouting report is released, Owen White will have already debuted with the Rangers. He gave up his first big-league hit to Shohei Ohtani, and a home run to Hunter Renfroe. He was slider heavy in his debut, and didn’t do bad. While he did give up three earned runs over his first two innings in the big-leagues, there’s good potential in this arm. Our latest in-depth scouting report takes a closer look at what Owen White has to offer.

Scouting Report Summary Extras:
Owen White will get some time out of the pen for the Rangers during his rookie season. He’s come a long way since getting picked in the second round of the 2018 MLB Draft. If time out of the pen can help him find more consistency in his off-speed offerings, then his grades should improve.
