It took Langford just a few days to get called up to High-A from the ACL in 2023. The fourth overall pick then found himself in Triple-A by the end of the season and it could be very possible that we see him compete for a roster spot out of Spring Training. He posts loud exit velos without having to sell out for power and looks like an All-Star in the making with his bat. While he doesn’t project to be a stole base threat, he has been clocked around 4.2 seconds on his home-to-first and could steal a handful of bases, giving him three legitimate plus tools.
