Our latest scouting report takes a look at Elly De La Cruz, arguably the best prospect in all of baseball. He’s been consistently one of the best all around prospects in the Reds system and he’s easily the number one prospect in the Reds system.

De La Cruz has taken the baseball industry by storm. In only 32 plate appearances, he’s showing those impressive exit velocities as his max exit velocity of 114.8 mph would be among top 20 in all of major league baseball. The Reds have developed a pretty impressive farm system and their future lineup looks solid, especially with Elly De La Cruz at the top of the lineup and patrolling shortstop.
