Lazaro Montes showed some of the loudest power at the Arizona Complex League in 2023. He continued to mash after getting promoted to Low-A Modesto. Montes is built like a home run hitter and will do serious damage at the plate, but he will need to figure out how to adjust his approach against better spin moving forward. However, his elite raw power is what will carry him through the Mariners system.
